About Me

By trade, I am a high school teacher who is currently transitioning out in pursuit of a career in nutrition and health. As an English teacher, I’ve always had a passion for how humans tell stories. Words hold such power and I love the creativity words provide towards our expression as people.

As far back as I can remember, I have always loved anything to do with love and connection. Making people feel comfortable on their most special day and bringing the story of their love to life, felt like an epic side quest.

Here’s a small introduction to who I am, alongside what I hope to offer as a dedicated celebrant!

I am surrounded by so much love in my world! I live with my dear sister Lola, my best friend Tylah and my sweet son of a cat Sully. I grew up in the states but have been on this island for 13 years now. My parents live in Minnesota but we make the effort to connect at least once a year. I am also blessed to have my wonderful partner Maf by my side. This is just a small fraction of the many faces that make me, me.

My spare time is filled with reading, all things Powerlifting, walking, cooking and forced cuddles with my cat. Ideally when I can, I go for pottery at my amazing friend Sinead‘s studio, Meadow & Wild here in Hamilton, or spend time doing something fun with the people around me.
